loosens itself

Not sure if I just got a bad one or what but all I carry in my pocket is a wallet and car keys with my CZ-P10-C in a OWB holster on this belt. I've had it about a week now. This small amount of weight is enough to drag the belt down enough and loosen it from the buckle constantly requiring me to have undo the belt and refeed it through the bucket to tighten it back up every 2 hours or so, very annoying. The main reason I'm still wearing it is that the quick release to take it off is AMAZING for us people with crohns disease.

You have to take buckle off to remove or install on pants

There is nothing about this belt I really like. What I don't like about is you have to take the buckle off the belt to put it on your pants. When you get it on your pants then you have to thread the belt through the buckle trying to get it the right size to hold up your pants, takes 4 or 5 tries to get it right, By then I take it off and put on a regular belt.

Doesnt fit in belt loops

These belts are and and all but they don't fit though the belt loops on my boyfriend's pants or shorts. The belt itself does but the latches don't. He has to take the latch completely off everytime to put his belt on or take it off. It's super annoying and time consuming. He doesn't even use them anymore because of this.

NOT 1.5", so can't try it out but if you have 2" loops YMMV

This belt looks well made and LOOKED as I expected. However, even though the belt itself fits the loops of all of my pants with a bit of room to spare, the BUCKLE is bigger than 1.5" so I can't thread the belt through the loops of ANY of my pants. SO it is pretty much useless. They needed to warn that the buckle was considerably over 1.5" and I wouldn't have ordered it. Thankfully Amazon provided excellent service and is letting me send it back for a refund. As I said to the Amazon rep on chat, It's really frustrating, I really like the way the belt looks. If it was only actually 1.5" I could use it and we wouldn't be chatting now...

What a joke!

I am not pleased with this purchase. I was under the impression that this was a thich, durable, duty belt that was capable of carrying the gear required for work. I was shocked to receive a flimsy woven belt. It is much thinner than the straps on a cheap backpack. Major disappointment, but I was in a bind and could not return it. Complete misrepresentation of the product by the company. Shame on you!

This belt broke after a using it for a month. The spring came out of one the sides. I was hoping it lasted longer.

Keep looking for a Tactical Belt

Don’t expect too much. I received my Fairwin Nylon Belt today and opened the package. At first glance I thought it to be a nice product. I began the process of removing the Nylon Belt from the Male End of the Buckle and threading that end through the belt loops on a pair of Blue Jeans. All went well and I thought to myself, “I may just really like this.” As I began threading the Nylon Belt back into the Male End of the Buckle something metallic clanged on the floor. It was the separator bar from within the buckle that creates the binding action on the web belt. It simply fell out. Upon closer inspection (see photo) I noticed that one end of the separator had an angled end which I suppose facilitated the Chinese Manufacturer’s laborer in assembly of that half of the buckle. Now I suppose it will be a time-consuming dilemma to don this belt every time I wear it as I have to be very careful of loosing this small part of the belt, making the entire belt no longer functional. As far as the Female end of the belt is concerned, I find no fault. Nor do I think the web portion of the belt is likely to ever be problematic. I intended to use this item while carrying my Concealed Pistol and the belt itself is more that adequate for that purpose. It is 1.5” wide, proper for insertion in pants belt loops. However, you will likely need to remove the female end of the buckle to thread the belt into your pants loop. At the buckle’s widest it is precisely 2 inches wide. If I were you, I would continue your search for a Tactical Belt while taking a pass on Fairwin’s offering because of the one fatal flaw of the Separator Bar within the male end buckle. Too bad, otherwise it is a winner…

Fantastic Belt with a major drawback to consider

I've had this belt for awhile now and while I love the clasp/buckle function, the fact is that it is simply too bulky to fit through the belt loop of many, if not most, of the pants in my wardrobe. I love tactical belts and was heartbroken when i lost my Blackhawk ACU belt in a TSA line. I bought this one as a replacement but sadly, on most pants I simply have to struggle to get either side of the buckle through the belt loops in my pants. Very few pants are able to do this one-handed. So if you are considering this belt, if you wear it with civilian clothes, you should be aware that you will need to remove the belt clasp/buckle from one end to thread it through the loops rapidly and then reattach it. Bit of a pain. It will work with the old army ACU pants, I don't have new uniforms to check the new UCPs are the same but I don't imagine they would be that different. The other drawback from this design is the the belt buckle forces the belt to exit at a 90 perpendicular to the body and the belt is rigid so it doesn't bend that easy so it raises the buckle off your waist slightly and when you're sitting, it can ride up and dig into your stomach. I didn't notice this until I wore it on a road trip over 250 miles and it really started to become uncomfortable. If I were wearing this with a tactical uniform 90% of the time i would rate it a solid 5 stars but as an everyday, it is a bit of a disappointment.

Quick release, but pain in everything else.

I ordered this belt to use while carrying, but the buckle is so bulky that it is difficult to get through my belt loops when putting it through, and taking it out. This could have been easily solved by a little better testing before going through with live production. I would not recommend this belt because of this issue. Also - it does not support the weight of my gun very well compared to a sturdier leather belt with steel core.

Difficult to put on

As others have noted, because the buckle is so large, you need to buckle the belt first, then run the loose end up and back down through the friction device. The problem is as you attempt to run back through the friction device, there is only a small amount of wide and it close up as you try to push the loose end through. I always managed to get it on, but only after some aggravating fiddling with it each time. After 1 month of use it is being retired to the never use again bin. You get what you pay for.
