As far as I can tell, this is an Apple lightening cable, and it came packaged in an Apple box. It looks identical to the one that came with my phone. It charges my iPhone 7 in the same amount of time as any other charger I use and it never heats up. It cost less than it would have cost at the Apple store. I’m pleased with the purchase and it appears to be new (not refurbished)

Apple makes the best charging cords - they are long lasting, give the fastest charge and most importantly, I know when I plug my iPad or phone in, it’s going to work - everytime. And I depend on my phone so when I can’t get a charge - or it’s slow, it’s very inconvenient and frustrating. It’s worth spending more money to get an Apple cord, although I do suggest getting a longer cord - this is just too short.

Does the job for a car charger. From Apple came in original box and everything. Off brands don’t have small lengths for car charging so this works. Is it durable?! Not really, this is probably my 4th one! Wish apple made them more durable. Anyway it is what it is!

Thank you for a gréât product . In addition; I appréciâte thé item arriving on Time. Also, thé cord was extrenely longer than my original cord that I received with my devices. In addition, I did not havé any problem in charging my devices. Included is two photos showing thé length of thé charger. Thank you again for a great product.

It is a genuine Apple product in sealed original Apple packaging, Model A1511. While genuine Apple cables are probably not the most durable cable, i purchased this cable to replace the same model cable purchased in an Apple store 4 years ago. After 4 years of use the Lighting end became frayed and the data conductor shorted. Just the same, 4 years of use was satisfactory for me. I use this short cable in my car. It is the perfect length for me, no excess to flop around the car and get in the way. Clearly since i am buying the same cable again, i would recommend it.

Can’t comment on durability because I just purchased it. I really wish they had a small one of this type….more like 6” because I really wanted to connect my iPhone to my car. Now I have a lot of unneeded cord. But nevertheless, it works

Real good goes. Doesn’t give you the error code (this accessory isn’t supported) when I use this to charge my phone.

This is a real Apple Lightning cable. I don't trust aftermarket ones because Apple eventually puts those updates through that make non-proprietary peripheral devices and cords stop working right. If you want the fastest charging, use a real Apple cable. Very happy with purchase.

I've got the 2m as well. The determining factor for me is will CarPlay work with my aftermarket Kenwood receiver...other cables NO, this cable YES. It may not be Apple, but it behaves like Apple where other cables don't.

Came exactly as described and works like it should. Some reviews said that they didn't get an Apple cord, but the one I got was from Apple. It came in the original Apple packaging with all the info cards that come with Apple products.
