Easy to install, do not need to remove the outlet. Just bright enough

We bought these so when we had visitors we didn't have to worry about them getting around in an unfamiliar home. They are perfect. The ones in the hallways are the best. Just start up the halls and you can see every door and set of stairs.

The LED outlets worked great. I installed one at them on the top of the stairs and now I can see at night, all my dogs collection of toys that for some reason he stores up there. I tested all five outlets and each functioned properly.

I had some reservations about the serviceability of these lights. The first one that I installed (as I am wont to do), I did so without fully reading the installation instructions. Consequently, after placing the plate on the outlet, and before fastening the outlet back into the box, I figured that I could simply cover the eye on the plate and since I could see that contact was made with the screws, it should light up. After several attempts, I simply gave up and buttoned the installation up and left it overnight. When I got up and it was still dark, the light had turned on as it was supposed to! I guess that is a lesson to THOROUGHLY read the instructions on any item before beginning to install. The second one installed easily and this time I had read the instructions that said that covering the eye would not be sufficient to turn the light on, since ambient light would still be present. Bottom line is this is a great product and is only limited by the location of outlets in the house.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It works for my household.

So glad I found these LED outlet covers! I bought the 5-pack type B rounded ones and they are amazing! Came with instructions on how to properly install, starting with turning off the breakers...etc. I, however, am a rebel and just took off my old outlet covers and just replaced it with these. 1 out of 5 came with a screw, but I didn't really need them since I just used the ones I already had. The lights immediately comes on as soon as the sensor detects loss of light. The brightness of the light adjusts depending on how dark it is, which was a surprise. I have one in the kids room and the light is perfect as a night light.

These were easy to install and are working just as I had hoped. My husband is disabled, so it really helps him to have some nightlights, so he can see if there is anything he might trip over. I am very pleased with my purchase, and would buy them again.
