These are not easy to install. Requires turning off power and depending on your outlet may be beyond the DIYer.

No matter what I do it won’t fit. It is supposed to be easy to install. Now I have 10 plates that I can’t use at all.

The lights pictured in the ad are not even accurate, they are more like a purple color, not white. Dark purple. Horrible quality, could barley slide them on as well. Don't waste your time.

We have a very long hallway and I was very hopeful these would work. They put such little light that you almost cannot tell they are even working. They do not light up the hallway well enough to use them as a guide light. So for my purposes, they are a waste of money and worthless. Would not buy again and would not recommend. The LED lights are just too weak.

I couldn't get any of these to make the connection so I had an electrician try to install them. He couldn't make them work either, so I threw them in the trash.
