Updated Review: After posting the Original Review (below) I was contacted by SOLPEX Customer Support. They were very apologetic and refunded my money in exchange for a 5-star review. While I still stand behind my 2-star rating for the product due to missing parts and lights, I was happy with the resolution. Original Review: Purchased 16 pack, only 9 were in the box. No screws to install them, and all of the standard ones I have at home were too big for these. Not the highest of quality, but they will work for my needs once I actually get what I ordered.

These little solar lights come with a piece of double sided tape foam adhesive that can be easily used to quickly placed them where you want them to be. One great advantage to this is to give you an idea if that is actually where you want it over several days before you actually screw it down more permanently. So far a day in the Florida sun has them burning nonstop through the entire night. Even on a cloudy day the whole overcharge will last for the next night as well.

I bought these lights and installed them on my fence every post about 8 feet apart. I have been using them for over a month now and they still work great. You have to consider that they are a small, 1 LED light with a little solar panel so it's not super bright but to give a little light along the fence to see your path at night they work good. It is now moving into October so the lights get less direct sunlight during the day and I notice they are not as bright early morning like 5-6am but still work. I would say the brightness is equal to a small candle like a tea light. If you are lookin for something bright to work by or security this is not for you but if you need a small light to highlight an area then this light should work great.

Wow! I didn't expect to like these as much as I do! They give off JUST the right amount of light and are perfect for small "lipped" areas like slightly raised patio blocks lining a walk way (you can just use the adhesive strip to secure it and it DOES stay secure even in the elements of weather). PERFECT for steps and I agree with many other commenters that putting one on each side of the EDGE of the steps facing inward is way better than putting them in the middle of each step going down. Just the perfect amount of light! I will definitely be getting more of these. You will not be disappointed.

I installed these lights around the perimeter of my floating deck and wall,Combined with my pathway lights They look fantastic , They have a lovely glow and emit the perfect amount of light to provide safety and ambience. All of the neighbors have complimented them and asked where I got them. They are so simple to install. I would definitely purchase again and highly recommend to anyone looking for that little extra touch in outdoor decor and lighting.

I have very steep outside back steps that are hard to see in the dark. This is a fantastic product that I wish I had discovered sooner. However, after installing two boxes on both sides of stair rails, I discovered one didn’t work. After pulling plastic strips out, make sure you cover the solar part with the palm of your hand to make sure they all light up before installing. Super easy to install. Sticky strips really help before driving screws in. So maybe 4.5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. I used these on our pool backsplash and secured them on the tiles using gorilla heavy duty indoor outdoor clear double sided tape (which I also bought on Amazon.com). I also placed them on pergola walls and steps of our wave spa. We really love these!!! It’s only a few days old so TBD on durability.

The Solpex solar deck lights are the perfect addition to my 2 level deck. They provide just enough light without being to bright. I placed one on each post and 3 going down my stairs. They were a little smaller than I expected but that makes them very low profile. They easily screw into the wood railing without having to drill a pilot hole. It also comes with 2 sided sticky tape for temporary installation.

Price, and ease of installation are both great. However, they don't last. Within one season, about 1/3 died. After one year, only five out of 16 survived. Update 6/6/22: The customer service is super great! After they found out the issue I have with some of the lights do not last, they contact me and offered generous replacement. I believe this kind of product generally has high failing rate. Their customer care makes up more than I can expect.

I bought several packs of these and ran them down a 300 foot dock. At night it looks like a landing strip. Everyone of them has held up through an entire season without needing battery replacement. I screwed this product into the railing so I cannot speak to the adhesive tape that was provided. The light is clear and bright. I have them spaced about 8 foot apart and they provide enough light to walk without fear of tripping over any obstacles. These are a great value for the money.
