The material is soft and the color is rich. They're also thick so no longer fear that my neighbors can see me here at night. They block out a surprising amount of light in the room. They don't make the room totally dark during the day but they darken the room considerably and at night time, they completely block all the light from the street light right outside of the window. love the colors and the material is so soft a little long but still cute.. These curtains are just what I've been looking for. The color Taupe is a really nice color, not too light or too dark. It darkens the room enough to sleep.
