Listen, I cannot assemble anything. I have zero skills in that department but my partner wasn’t available to assemble it for me. The instructions are essentially 2 main steps- taking the 2 sides and the 2 thin bars that attach to the sides, then the second step is adding the racks which just involves pushing them onto the sides. I got very frustrated at first with attaching the thin bars to the sides. I couldn’t figure out how it was supposed to attach and the screws seemed way too short. I was trying to line them up one in front of the other. Well, I eventually realized the thin bars are supposed to fit the little tab with the hole on the rack’s sides INSIDE it. Inside the thin bar. THEN you screw to secure. Once I figured that out it was easy. I attached the screws, then the racks you just position over the desired bar level on the 2 sides and push down and it attaches to the bar. But you can easily lift it up and change the bar level you have the rack on. I hope that helps because I was very very frustrated at first with the 2 thin bars attaching to the 2 sides lol. Great sturdy, affordable rack and no issues. Holds a lot of shoes.
