Needed multiple ports for my sons bedroom. This fit well on his desk without taking up a lot of room and he can easily charge his game controllers and use for his wireless mouse without having to unplug anything else.

I needed the multi usb port in my home music studio for several key pieces of recording equipment, as usb space was limited on my lap top.

Seems everything is USB powered now a days and with certain plugs/outlets, it's difficult to find enough power bricks (the big blocks that plug into walls) to keep everything running. So purchased this handy little device and it works beautifully. There are no USB C connections, so be aware if that is desired.My only complaint? The dang blue light that is indicating it is on and working. I use this device in my bedroom and, unfortunately, it lights up a quarter of the room at night with a lovely shade of blue that's very distracting on sleepless nights because it is so bright. Otherwise, do recommend, would buy again.
