Bought this for our trip to Hawaii and it was a game changer (the condo we rented actually had the exact same one!) It’s large enough that we had 6 adults sitting on it comfortably, 4 adults can lay out on it. Setting it up is definitely a multi person job, it’s basically a parachute. The stakes don’t stay super secure in the sand but we just put our cooler/backpacks at the edges to be extra secure. It’s pretty water resistant but it’s like a tent material so you have to air it out once you get home or it will get musty. Folding it back into the bag was a learning process, especially with the wind, but you get the hang of it after a few times. It’s the perfect size to just keep in your backpack, and it also has a strap so you can carry it on its own. Also, big fan of the fact that the bag is attached to the blanket so you don’t lose it! All that said, I am never going back to the beach without this. Absolutely recommend!

So. This is what I as a Floridian would call a tarp... Or like... A parachute type of thing lol. Picture playing redrover with this... It's that kind of material. Not really a blanket... Or towel... But! I love it. It's VERY light. Like. Don't expect it to protect you from rocks or shells under you. There's no cushion Like a towel or blanket would have. But it is large. Light. And covers the ground so you and the kids can hang out. It's different then I'm used too but has come in handy. Ive actually used it as a cover to hide stuff in my trunk. And have used it as like a light weight picknick blanket. So long as the ground isn't full of sharp poky Rocky things it will do fine. 😁

Wow this blanket worked great for our family. The babies can crawl around on it and it stays put. The pockets on the corner are handy. We put sand in them to help hold the blanket down. It has little stakes that work great too. We really loved it. The sand can (and does) get on the blanket, but it shakes right off I have taken it to the park , beach and we even used it as a light weight blanket to make a fort with our granddaughters. I just pop it in the washer and air dry in the dryer and it turned out great. There is a learning curve on folding it but just pay attention to keep the bag on the edge and keep folding lengthwise until the width of the blanket is folded the same size as the bag. Then start rolling from the opposite end and roll towards the bag and tuck it in. Don’t forget to put your little stake pouch in after it’s rolled up. It’s easy to forget.

We live in beach town and spend many weekends hauling all of our belongings over the sand dunes to the water's edge. This blanket is spacious enough for everyone to relax on. For reference, I'm 5'7" and my husband is 6'2". Our four kids are ages 11, 9, 7 and 2. We all fit comfortably on it. It packs easily into my backpack for carrying, just stuff it back into the attached stuff sack and it dries quickly. Before using, I did rinse it in cold water just to prevent any color transfer as the blanket I ordered was deep blue. After soaking, there was only a slight blue tinge to the water. It didn't transfer color onto any of our suits. Sunscreen does leave marks on it, but considering all the positives about the blanket, I'm OK with that. Sunscreen is greasy and leaves marks on lots of different things. I'm sure the spots would come out if I scrubbed them, but since this is a beach blanket, I'm not concerned. Very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Love! Love! Love! My family of 6 can easily fit on this. It's so compact and light weight, easy to carry around, which is very important for me considering I've got 4 littles that are useless at carrying their own things and I've essentially become a pack mule. Quality and sturdy. Keeps the sand below and our things above dry and sand free. I'd buy it again!

Just bought this to take to my beach trip last week and it worked great. Heads up it is not wind proof so if you are setting it up on a windy day be prepared to struggle a little bit (we ended putting sand on the edges to help create a seal so the wind wouldn't get under it and blow it back up because it ripped the 4 stakes right out of the ground a couple times. After we did that it worked great and it was a large surface where we could spread our towels and stuff out. There was 2 of us with xlarge beach towels. When we were done we pulled the stakes out picked it up and all the sand flew right off. I shoved it back into the little pouch in about 2 minutes. The next day we pulled it out and it was thankfully less windy. setting up was easy peasy, we were set up in our spot in less than 10 minutes and enjoying our sand free spot at the beach. Be advised it is in no way shape or form an actual towel.

Quality is amazing! We've used now twice at the beach in NC, one on a calm night and one a really day - the blanket never budged. It's a perfect size - love how we can easily tuck the bag into our beach bag . We are a soon to be family of 4, it fits two adults, 1 child with plenty of extra room. Love how the sand just brushes off the material with ease and if water gets on it, it doesn't affect it. Attached a picture of the stakes in the sand, this was our extremely windy day in the OBX, never moved. Would definitely purchase from this company again.

This light weight durable blanket performed well at our beach outing. It was easy to set up, big enough for our party of 5, cooler and chairs. The stakes where great to hold the blanket down. The removal of the sand was very easy, just a few shakes was all it took. One of the pros, and cons, to this blanket is it has a pouch that is sewn directly onto the blanket. Although it is convenient, you have to fold it correctly in order for it fit back in the bag which can be a slight challenge. If you are looking for a traditional thick blanket this is not it but if you are looking for a thin barrier between you and the sand, easy to clean, water resistance, and big enough for a family, this is it.

We love this beach blanket so much that we own two! It is lightweight, has sturdy loops on the corners for the metal anchors, and 4 sand pockets for anchors. The sand just shakes right off! I love the fact that there is a nylon strap on the carrying bag. I especially like that it came with 6 stakes in their own nylon drawstring bag (2 extras). The best part is that it stows in its own attached drawstring bag, making it very easy to pick up and go when you're done at the beach. I highly recommend this beach blanket.

Bought this for a beach vacation and it worked out perfectly. I didn’t test to see the whole water resistance part but I’ve had blankets in this material in the past. I’m sure water just sits on it and then you can shake it off but we are not one of those families that is concerned about sand and water touching the blanket now and then. It was light weight, I love that it comes in a bag with tiny stakes for the corners. It’s pretty funny to fold up if you don’t have somebody helping you but not a big deal.
