There are so many options to choose from and it took me hours to decide which to go with! I am very happy with my choice! This beach blanket is huge and very light weight. The metal stakes make it easy to hold down and it stays in place even on the windy days! It was comfortable lying directly on it or with a beach towel. It never got too hot. It was so easy to put back in the bag... even the kids were able to pack it up! The sand slid right off as well. It had rained in the morning our first day using it and the sand was wet... no moisture got through it when sitting or lying down on the blanket.

Ok I seriously can’t say enough about this beach blanket. Does the sand fall through it... well no, but the sand doesn’t stick to it and when the wind blows it has a tendency to blow the sand off. THE BEST UNFORESEEN PLUS! Is that it blocks the UV rays and if anyone has been on the amazing white sugar sand beaches in PCB you know you can still get sunburned even while under an umbrella or tent! Sitting on this blanket saved us from getting burned by the sun reflecting off the sand. That alone makes this blanket worth the money!

Love this oversized beach blanket! Very lightweight and folds up easily into an attached pouch. Came with metal stakes to help hold the corners down that also fit in pouch. Sand blows right off the blanket due to the material. Easily fits in beach bag. Purchased 2 additional ones as gifts.

I love this blanket. It’s super easy to transport and it gets the job done. I have seen some people post that they didn’t love it. It’s made from the same material as camping hammocks. It will not let sand fall through it, but is is nearly waterproof. Super easy to brush off and stow away. It’s big enough for room for a family of 4.

We wanted a sand-proof mat to take to the beach but came across this and decided to try it. While the sand does not skip through the material — it brushes away easily! The size of this mat allows us to have a nap area for our toddler, chairs under the canopy, and even organize all of the food/drinks/stuff under the tent for multiple people! It’s lightweight and stays cool to the touch and takes up ZERO space in the tiny bag! Easy to transport and use best the competitors by far!

Home from a week in the Pacific coast. Wind and sand and sun. This beach "blanket" was wonderful! It is think like parachute material, easily put back in to the little bag that it comes in/attached to it. About 6 of us fit on the blanket with room to spare! It is large and bright and also a great way to find "your people" from a distance at the beach! We used it everyday and we would do it again in a heart beat!

I just bought this for a second time. I have to say these are the best travel blankets ever. We keep one in each car because they take up so little room. We have used them at the park to eat on for picnicking and also put them across the top of picnic tables to act as a tablecloth. The best part is they clean off really easily just by shaking them off and it takes no time at all to shove them back in their little bag.

Loved this blanket for the sand! Love that there is the option to use the steaks or to fill with sand. (Not to mention you get a couple extra steaks with it I!). We used the steaks and it worked great. Easy to get the sand off when done and stuff it back in. Would definitely recommend!! It also washed great and didn’t fade. Not only that but I received a card in the mail thanking me for my business. Great company!

LOVE this Wekapo Beach Blanket!!! is works as advertised... sheds water and sand AMAZINGLY. We we very impressed with QUALITY and SIZE it definitely exceeded our expectations. whole family + gear fit comfortably with room to spare... paired nicely with our Shibumi sunshade in size and color... our beach gear is now WORLD CLASS functional and stylish. Can't say enough good things about this beach blanket. Little details matter, excellent craftsmanship and amazing that they provided 6 stakes when only 4 required, incase you lose one in the sand! That kind of detail is quality AND service in my book!

This was much bigger than I expected unfolded, and packed smaller than I thought possible. I don't know how you'd neatly fold the massive blanket back into the back, but it fits easily smashed into the bag. It didn't sift sand through as easily as I thought, and we took a decent amount with us (but not as much as were in our bathing suits or skin) My babies got banana on it, and it didn't easily wash off with a hose, but it does say it's machine washable so we'll do that next. It was really nice and overall did it's job.
