Great looking lights. Batteries keep them on for a good 6 hours or so.Only complaint, the plastic tubes are thin and brittle, same as some other similar lights we have. A good gust of wind can break them off where they connect to the spike in the ground. I’ll use a wooden dowel inside the tubes and replacing the spike to prevent damage. Nobody will even know I have reinforced them and they should last a long time.

Plastic is flimsy and fragile. My husband is going to make some metal stakes for them since the plastic is hard to put in ground. They are also very short.I do love that they look like fire and stay lit until dawn. I have gotten several compliments at our campground. I am going to buy some for my deck but may choose a different brand.

This is the second box of 4 that I got in 2 weeks. I ordered it one day and received it the next day. This last shipment of 4 only 3 of the lights work. How can I get another light?

The lights charge and work fine. Loom pretty nice. Not bright. But decent for what they are.Made of cheap plastic and the poles will crack if you push too firmly on them. Mine did.

I bought my solar torch lights about three weeks ago and had really been enjoying them. They charged well, stayed lit through the early morning hours and the flame looks realistic. I was happy with my purchase until I noticed today that one of the lights no longer worked. Upon inspection, I noticed a crack in the top battery piece. The only thing that could have happened to it was that a small branch (12") hit it, as the branch was on the ground beside the lamp. If that's the case, the torches are built with far too flimsy materials to withstand the normal elements of the outdoors. I was disappointed and will move the remaining torches to another spot, but will not purchase more as planned.

Solar lamps are never going to be very bright, so I didn't count that against these. I put them around the back patio a week ago, so I can't speak to the longevity yet. They cast a nice low, flickering light that is pretty and relaxing and helps us see the border between where the patio ends and the grass begins. It's so nice when the sun goes down and they begin flickering - definitely set a mood and make the patio inviting. The only downside to them that I found was that the stake part that goes into the ground is a bit flimsy - you'll want soft ground to stake them into or the stake will bend.
