I received this product for my honest feedback. The Lil Flyer Trike was quick and easy to assemble. It’s lightweight which makes it so easy to carry even my 2 yr old can carry it. The trike is well made and is holding up to my toddler who is rough on toys. My toddler hasn’t quite mastered pedaling, but is learning quite well with this trike. Even with a tall toddler the bike is a perfect fit. The pedals and handle bars are easy to use. I also love the grips on the front wheel. I recommend the Radio Flyer Lil Flyer Trike as a first trike.
Our 2 and 3 year olds love this bike. Our 2 year old is able to use the pedals easier than other trikes. This will be a great transition to a larger bike. The trike came in a smaller package than I expected. It took 10 minutes to assemble with a little helper. We received this free trike for our honest feedback.
I received the Lil Flyer Trike as a free product for my 2 1/2 year old twins to try out for my honest feedback on the item. I will say that the bike is sturdy and was super easy to put together. I love also how easy and light it is to take with you or put in a car. My kids are still learning that you have to continually pedal for the bike to keep moving, but they enjoyed getting on it and kept trying! Overall this is a great product.
Radio Flyer provided me with a free sample to test and try out. Assembly: As always with any new kid toy I typically dread the assembly portion. I have to say, this has to be the easiest assembled toy out of anything I’ve had to put together. 5 screws, that’s it. It took exactly 5 minutes to put together. The instructions are clear and to the point, and it is built to have your kiddos riding in literal minutes. 3 YO Review: My 3YO did great with this and really put it to the test immediately after assembly. He took it on a 2 mile ride around the neighborhood and it did not disappoint. For the most part it has good traction, but like any trike, the traction going uphill is nonexistent. In addition the traction on the rug in the house (when we first assembled it) is also nonexistent. The big tire just spins in these two scenarios. Otherwise, he did great and was able to ride it basically anywhere. With all of that said, my 3 year old is on the taller side so he was a bit cramped on it but made it work because it was too much fun not to make it work. 1.5YO review: Like his older brother, our 1.5 year old loved the trike from the very first moment he saw the picture on the package. What is different about a 1.5 year old though is that he is much less experienced when it comes to physically pushing the pedals to make it go. He has just been using his feet to push the trike. While it seems to be a perfect fit for him, he’s just not advanced enough at 1.5 YO to use the trike as intended. Wear and Tear: Through the 3-5 miles that have been accumulated on the trike over the last couple weeks, it has stayed in good condition. The majority of the riding has been on cement sidewalks and asphalt driveways and paths. The body and handle bars are in fine condition. There some minor scratches but that’s just general wear and tear from it getting thrown around from time to time. As for the tires, the rear two are in fine condition. A couple weeks worth of use and a handful of miles and there is no real wear and tear worth noting. That is consistent with the big wheel up front. The main strip on the big tire is holding up well and has the same traction as when we first took it out. Overall, this is genuinely a good trike. Its durability is great and good if your kids like to rough house like mine. The compatibility can vary from kid to kid, but overall seems to work well for kids that have the understanding of how to work the pedals. Maybe we just need to get our 1.5 year old on it more and learn the pedals. Thanks, The Prestigiacomo Family
The Radio Flyer Lil' Flyer Trike was easy to assemble in under 15 minutes. My twins toddlers are OBSESSED with this trike. They wake up and ask for "my bike". One of my favorite features is how lightweight it is. Light enough to carry with one hand... even toddlers can carry it from place to place, if needed. Another key feature is that it is the perfect size for an older toddler. The seat and frame are strong and durable. The pedals are easy to reach for an older toddler but it does take some practice to learn how to pedal if your toddler isn't used to pedaling yet. The great part is they can use their feet to steer the bike too. A bonus highlight of this bike is the front wheel textured tread allowing for a smooth ride but always provides a strong quality front wheel. The bike can be used outside or inside. Although, once outside I wouldn't recommend bringing back inside. One complaint I did have was the back wheels seem a bit flimsy. They are hallow and do not have the texted tread like the front wheel does for extra stability. Overall, I would recommend this trike to parents who need a starter trike option for their toddlers. Thank you to Radio Flyer for providing me with this Lil' Flyer Trike to test out and provide an honest review.
* I was given this product from Radio Flyer to product test at no charge* Review: Easy to put together, my toddler boy age 2 likes it and is learning to practice putting feet on peddles vs. floor. Nice transition bike to when he will learn to ride one with training wheels!
