These lights are surprisingly bright. They are much smaller than I thought they would be but, the way they illuminate makes up for their small size. I did have a hard time trying to figure out how to open the end of the light to insert the batteries. You actually slide the end open. The directions do not illustrate this. I was trying to pull the whole end cap off. Also, I'm wondering how you're supposed to replace the batteries once the light is adhered to your object. Do you have to peel it off your wall, cabinet, stairwell, etc, in order to turn it upside down to take out the old batteries & replace with new? Perhaps, they should redesign it so you can easily slide the light part off of the bottom part to insert/replace the batteries.

I think I would love these lights if I could just figure out how to install the batteries!! Can anyone help me?

Nice bright light that comes on and goes off automatically. The only thing is that batteries don't last very long.

One of these failed shortly after purchase: the connection was off. I put a piece of foil inside and now it works fine. It's nice having them in the basement for extra lighting.
