I spent SO much time researching and reading reviews online for car seats. Obviously, it's an incredibly important purchase: this is the safety of my child! I couldn't see anything in person because of COVID-19 and didn't want to overspend and be unhappy. I finally decided on this car seat and am so glad I did. It's one of the few purchases I have zero regret about, actually! It's super lightweight yet feels solid and safe. The one hand button to move the handle is great. The canopy is very generous & almost completely covers baby and is sooo quiet when you move it. The base was incredibly easy to install and remove from the car though I did get a 2nd one nonetheless (work smarter, not harder. Right?!). With the extra padding around the head, infant insert, and included strap covers, I felt much better putting my newborn in it when she was brand new and so tiny! The only thing I discovered upon receiving the car seat that I hadn't read about is that the arm bar/carrying handle does not go back all the way behind the seat to act as a stopper (to prevent the car seat from flipping backward). My other Graco ones did but that was quite a few years ago so maybe that's not a thing anymore. I assume it's a safety feature to prevent you from accidentally hitting the button amf flipping baby upside down but I don't actually know. Put it this way, the lack of that wasn't enough of a deterrent for me. I mean, really, how often do you almost flip your infant upside down & backward while in it's car seat? If you're following safety suggestions, like putting the seat on the floor (not the table/counter) then probably pretty rarely. If you're not, an arm bar isn't going to save you or your child so smarten up :). All in all, I'm very pleased with this car seat. Do yourself a favor- stop reading reviews and buy this one!
