The Vaas Digital Peephole Viewer kit provides you with the components for a complete digital peephole solution that records an image of anyone knocking on your door. The digital peephole includes all the necessary hardware to mount the unit on your door, and from the outside it looks exactly like any inexpensive peephole that you can buy from any local hardware store. Mounted on the inside of your door, it features an LCD viewing screen and a microSD card slot that supports available cards up to 32GB. The digital peephole corrects the image for fisheye distortion, and the camera features brightness enhancement that provides a bright image even in dim lighting. The 2.8" LCD view screen provides a large bright image as compared to what you see through a standard optical peephole, plus there is no tell-tale darkening of the peephole indicating that someone inside the apartment is using the peephole. The LCD remains off until you activate it, and this conserves battery power. Activating the LCD to see who is outside your door also triggers the recording of the image to an available microSD card (not included).
