So having this backup camera on my Ram 1500 for approximately eight years, I finally decided to switch it out. This was the 1st backup camera on my Ram. Installation was straight forward. The picture in the mirror is good. However, the adapter plate does not mate up to the mirror. This has been an issue from the beginning. I even ordered a replacement plate thinking that would solve the issue. It did not. Additionally, the set screw keeping the mirror on is AWEFUL. You must have a full sized allen wrench to tighten this set screw. PAIN! Once this screw was stripped out, I tried to get a replacement here in the US. Mistake! Has a China odd ball size set screw. Had to get the replacement from the manufacture but I still need that full sized allen wrench to tighten. If you have your windshield replaced this will be an issue for the installer. Guarantee. Do not buy this product.

I bought this to primarily back up and hook up my trailer because it has a tilting camera. But it doesnt tilt down far enough and the picture quality of so poor I now have a large dent in my rear tailgate and 2 dents in my bumper. Thanks but no thanks.

Will not fit my car. I guess car to old

Installation went smoothly except for the mirror. I had to modify the adapters to work with my '03 Acura TL.The backup grid is deceiving as it always flashes Stop even if you're not close to an object, so it takes practice to figure out the stopping distance.Lastely, it has a horrible glare in the daytime; almost to the point of being unusable.

“Wireless” camera that requires tons of wired installation

It glitches a lot while driving. Super bother when it happens at night mine mite be defective I’m not sure but for what I paid I wasn’t expecting it to suck.Update they are very good with customer service.

Worked great for a day , static , cuts out , blacks out while backing comes back on static again .Yes the wiring is correct , even tried buying a separate filter for camera , didn’t help.Don’t buy , junk.

Received this device Christmas 2021. I was so excited. Major disappointment. The picture quality is terrible. And if the sunlight happens to be behind you, forget about seeing anything. I would send it back but we waited for warm weather to install it so stuck with it. I wouldn't even try to sell it in a garage sale to get money back because I know how poorly it works. Buyer Beware!

Right after camera was installed, I noticed one of the green lights were not on on the rear view mirror wasn’t sure if that was an issue so I contacted customer service they said it would not be After like 6 months it doesn’t not work. I’m only writing this review cause customer service is near impossible to get a hold of. The camera will not turn on while in reverse anymore in fact it shows images while in drive we’re I was parked
