very pleased with this lamp. Gives uplighting with a variable switch, as well as a moveable lower task light for reading, etc. The glass shades are nice quality and it came with LED bulbs that are bright enough for my needs. During the assembly, it was important to keep everything vertical. At one point I could not get the tubes to screw flush, then realized that the inner screw piece was slightly cockeyed. Not sure if that was my fault or if it came that way, but I was able to tap it strategically to get it back in line, then everything went together great.

Looks classier than other other torchiere styler lamp & has bonus reading lamp!

Great Lamp Although Didnt Come With Dimmable Light Bulbs As It Would Flicker When On Low.

The lamp shines a huge amount of light, but be very, very careful when assembling. When putting the shade on top, there's a plastic ring that fits inside to hold the lamp in place, fastened on with wing nuts. The ring doesn't lay flush with the unit, so when screwing on the wing nuts, the plastic ring broke. I was trying to screw it on so the wing nuts were snug. I recommend only tightening until there is slight resistance to avoid breaking the ring. I glued it back together once and it broke again before I could get the light bulbs in. I used a different adhesive, was very careful, and it is holding - I hope for a long time. I do love the lamp. The shade is glass, not plastic, which is what I wanted. Just can't believe they'd put a plastic ring instead of metal.

assembly was a pain in the butt, and one set of knobs to activate is "consistently inconsistent" in its operation. bought in pair, the other one works fine.

It was a great lamp until my 1 year old decided to tip it over. The top lamp shade shattered all over the place. It was great while it lasted. I think I would have to find a kid proof lamp for the living room.

Lovely lamp, worth the price. Quality control with Target is all over the place. Mine was nice, sorry others got bad/dented product.

Got it on sale so I’m not mad about it. Just got it so not sure on longevity. Worth the $39. FYI Dont tighten butterfly screws too tight! Good lighting and feels sturdy

worked fine with dimmable 100 watt led bulbs! other bulbs flickered!

Really nice lamp however it slants. I can’t manage to screw the bottom portion on correctly therefor it tilts. Otherwise very solid and nice looking.
