I bought two of these and they both broke in different ways within 8 months of purchase. On one, the “daughter” lamp just fell off the main lamp. Bad soldering job? This one was also dented on the base upon opening. On the other, the switch to turn on the “daughter” lamp came off, the entire lamp has started to lean at an angle and the dimmer switch, when used, causes the light bulb to flicker unless it’s turned up to full power. You get what you pay for here and I’m grateful I got these on sale because even $30 is steep for the quality.

The light it gives off is great. HOWEVER I got one of the bad ones. Like other negative reviews said, it flickers and doesn’t screw in properly. I’m going to keep it because I don’t want to go through the hassle of disassembling it and taking it back :/ I’m very disappointed though bc $60!

This lamp is poorly and cheaply made. It is not worth 65 dollars. It does not sit straight and we had to Bend it so that it wasn’t crooked. Several pieces were so tightly screwed, that had to be unscrewed for assembly we had to use pliers! It takes two people to build and you have to be strong! My husband said it wasn’t worth 10 bucks!

This lamp is terrible! I purchased two and returned both! the first one had a thread issue and got stuck and the second one the lights flickered! I gave it two stars for the look of it and the idea but it is very poor quality.

Agreed with comments about poor quality. I have one lamp, it’s been good, bought another to match. Couldn’t assemble due to misaligned threads. I read reviews and was like hm well my first one is fine. It’s so easy to return to target that it’s not a huge problem but tbh not worth it.

The glass lamp shade was shattered into many pieces on opening - not well protected in the box. Don’t love that it’s glass - seems a hard plastic would be safer and just as aesthetic. The complaints about thread screws - it take a lot of perfect alignment but I think u can get it working okay if you’re patient.

I love the look of this lamp, but the threading is absolutely awful. The main light switch completely came off and I have found no way of putting it back on because of the way the threading is. I just have to push it in to be able to twist and turn on the light. So it sits there, but will always fall out after I let go.

We bought 2 of these. On one the dimmer switch lasted a couple months. I replaced it with a basic on/off (non-dimmer) rotary switch and it's still going strong. The dimmer on the second unit lasted a few years before it went bad. The switch doesn't just stop working. The lights (LED bulbs) in the top unit start flickering randomly. It was a bit harder to remove the dimmer module from the tube on the second one. Let's just say it didn't come out in one piece, as the pic shows. Would I recommend these? Only if you like flashing lights or you're able to do the minor electrical work to replace the dimmer switches.

one of the two "mother" lamp sockets doesn't work - disappointing

Top portion of lamp stopped working not long after purchasing. Unfortunately it was past the return window. Such a waste of money.
