Bought this in silver from my local store. And ALMOST returned it. I had a threading issue like people were talking about on here. It seems like the threads are a little finicky. You have to make sure to line them up perfectly, do NOT force the pieces to screw together. At one point I had gotten the threading crooked and could not get it screwed together, but my husband was able to unscrew it and line it back up correctly. SO... once it is put together, it is a VERY nice lamp! It looks really good and puts off excellent light. I have it by a couch, so it lights up the whole room, and the smaller light acts as a reading lamp for the couch. Seems sturdy and is only slightly wobbly (pretty decent for a floor lamp). Happy with purchase so far.

I already purchased this lamp, but needed another for an additional room. It's easy to put together and sturdy once complete with setup. However, be careful with the shades as they can break before putting the lamp together. It matches well in any room. Although I noticed with the second purchase it has gone up in price since the last one I purchased last year or two. Advice would be is set up slowly as to not damage, I bought them in nickel and they bring a chic look to any room.

I really love this light, but it did arrive with some blemishes to the brushed nickel finish, and the very top part does not completely screw into the stand so I can see some screw ridges below that. But over all, it's a great light with a reading corner spotlight for our virtual learning room at home. Just in time for school to start (remotely)!

If you start screwing the pieces together with the top, then work your way down, the threading isn't an issue at all. For the second and third pieces, FOLD the thread into the top piece (just like putting together any other lamp). Leaves you with 2-3 feet of cord to plug and place your lamp. Put the glass shades on last. TIP: Loosely twist the poles into place. If they start to get tight too early, it's crooked so untwist and try again. If it's straight, it'll smoothly screw all the way on. Let the poles guide themselves, don't force anything.

This lamp gives off a lot of light which was needed in the livingroom.

Really nice lamp however it slants. I can’t manage to screw the bottom portion on correctly therefor it tilts. Otherwise very solid and nice looking.

Got it on sale so I’m not mad about it. Just got it so not sure on longevity. Worth the $39. FYI Dont tighten butterfly screws too tight! Good lighting and feels sturdy

Lovely lamp, worth the price. Quality control with Target is all over the place. Mine was nice, sorry others got bad/dented product.

It was a great lamp until my 1 year old decided to tip it over. The top lamp shade shattered all over the place. It was great while it lasted. I think I would have to find a kid proof lamp for the living room.

assembly was a pain in the butt, and one set of knobs to activate is "consistently inconsistent" in its operation. bought in pair, the other one works fine.
