Excellent quality materials, heavy base to help prevent tipping, solid switches. Love the dimmable feature for the 2 bulbs in the upper large frosted torchiere. We bought a second one we liked it so much and would definitely recommend this lamp.

Very heavy so it does not tip over. The dimmer switch for the top lamp allows you to set just the right brightness. The pole scews together so well you cannot see the connection points easily. Just make sure you screw in each part straight and completely and don't move on to the next part until you are sure each piece is completely screwed in correctly.

Looks classier than other other torchiere styler lamp & has bonus reading lamp!

very pleased with this lamp. Gives uplighting with a variable switch, as well as a moveable lower task light for reading, etc. The glass shades are nice quality and it came with LED bulbs that are bright enough for my needs. During the assembly, it was important to keep everything vertical. At one point I could not get the tubes to screw flush, then realized that the inner screw piece was slightly cockeyed. Not sure if that was my fault or if it came that way, but I was able to tap it strategically to get it back in line, then everything went together great.

This lamp is more solid than other options that are available from other stores. Unlike the others that we looked at, this one has glass shades on both the task light and the uplight rather than the plastic that the alternatives have. As a result, it also takes higher wattage light bulbs (up to two 150 watt in the top) which gives us the amount of light we need. The torchier portion has a dimmer switch which is also very useful for adjusting the amount of light. It worked so well for what I needed it for, I bought a second one for a different room/application

Great lamp to light up a room and for task work. Surprisingly the lamp takes TWO 150 W bulbs and one 60 W bulb. Glass shades. Easy assemble, everything screws together, heavy base and lamp stands straight. Would purchase again.

I love this lamp! It's really sturdy and great quality for the price. I especially love the fact that I can use the smaller dimmer light since it's in my baby girl's nursery. Was super easy to put together too. Overall love it!
