I purchased two of these lamps. One for additional lighting in my bedroom, the other for my foyer. Everything was going good assembling it until I got to the last pole part at the top. I tried so hard to get it straight and screw it all the way until the palm of my hand was red and sore. When I tried to unscrew it to get it even to start that section all over, I couldn't unscrew it! It wouldn't BUDGE! I was sooo disappointed! I returned the lamp back to my local target sticking up crazily in the box because I wasn't able to take it apart. I still have the second one and will trying putting it together when the palm of my hand is heals. I hope and pray I won't have the same issue and it screws in evenly. I wish their Quality Control would be more mindful of the supposedly ease of the assembling process.

This lamp stopped working after having it for about 10 months. Out of nowhere, the top two bulbs started flickering and then went out permanently. I changed them out, but the new bulbs did not work either. The reading light still works but I am afraid to use the lamp because the wiring seems to be faulty. I am really disappointed because I really like the look of this lamp and I can't even exchange or return it. There's $55 down the drain!

It's going back. Impossible to assemble. I thought I was going to have a stroke. Threading is so cheaply made it's rough and jams hopelessly. It's a real heartbreak because the lamp otherwise has all the features we'd been looking for.

Lamp was shipped broken. It looked like it had been previously opened and returned. Pieces were missing. It was made cheaply. I would not recommend.

I like the lamp. It is a bit awkward to put it together solo, because it is top-heavy and there are 3 sections to put together before the top goes on, but I managed.

Had this lamp for about 3 weeks before it suddenly broke. The two bulbs in the larger shade suddenly would not turn on, reading lamp is fine. I tried changing the bulbs, trying different power outlets, looking at the wiring of the lamp -- nothing worked. Also, the wiring sticks out of the base in such a way that the base does not rest flat on the ground, and therefore the lamp is permanently wobbly. Would not recommend.

Loved the lamp. Just what I was looking for. However..........purchased 2 and returned both for the same reason >>defective threads. Not able to piece poles together. Threads were cheaply made and pole parts would not go together. So disappointing. Other customers indicated the same thing. Manufacturer need to get this resolved asap.

I was so excited to find this lamp in the store. Immediately bought it and brought it home to realize that both the class "cones" meant to surround the light bulbs were shattered in the box. I'm not sure if this is a quality issue or a packaging issue; either way, I am disappointed in the fragility of the product.

Threading crooked. Very difficult to unscrew to take apart. Took two strong people. Large lamp shade glass was so thin was broken when tried to remove from packaging. Small shade was much thicker and was fine. Defective glass in large shade Will not buy another lamp like this. Then just TRY to get it back into the original packaging!!!!!! I dare you!!!! NOT POSSIBLE!!!! Note that to return it HAS to be put back into original box!!!!!!yikes!!!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!!! NOPE!!!! Not buying another lamp from target online. Better to get locally. At least then it’s easy to return! Too bad because we did like the lamp. Was going to use it on patio. Not happening now. Not happy.

Would give Zero stars if possible. We simply could not get the threads on these tubes to go together, no matter how perfectly vertically we had aligned them before we tempted to screw them together. Crap product. It seems to be, by reading the reviews, luck of the draw on whether the thing will go together or not. And, by the way, getting it back into the box to schlep back to the store is an even bigger pain in the neck. Buyer beware.
