I thought these would work as bug zappers but its just a purple light at night. I'm very disappointed with this purchase. I should of just returned them because they don't do what they advertise them to do. The white light also works if you want them to use as outdoor lighting.

I purchased six but only four had the purple light come on and one of them didn't come with a stand. I haven't seen these work as bug zappers. The only reason I purchased these was because it said they were also bug zappers. I only see a purple light on four of them and that is about it.
