I always clean my records before I play them, even brand new ones, but I always still expect to hear pops and crackles, especially in between songs. But this record sounded super clean! I don't remember another modern, mass produced record sounding this clear and vibrant I only noticed a couple pops over four sides! I also was surprised to find it came in a gatefold jacket with a lyric booklet! You can tell this is a labor of love! The only downside is--and I admit I wasn't expecting it to--it does not come with an MP3 card.

Great addition to her discography. As always, she takes on different influences and makes them her owns. There’s a bit for everyone; ballads, rock Latino, regional Mexican, disco, pop. Old fans and new will be satisfied.
