The blender itself is excellent, and appeared to be brand new. The box looked like it had been previously opened, the interior plastic bags had been removed, and the plastic blender cup had a large crack in it. That wasn't a reason for me to return it as I didn't need the cup anyway, and the machine seemed intact.
