This handmade linen doll Promotes positive self image. I did some reading up on the company HarperIman and they are selling these beautiful melanin dolls in 4 different skin tones. The craftsmanship is so well done all the way down to the sneakers and laces. I was also pleased how big she is and the packaging is perfect. This doll is 14" tall. The tag says her name is Imani and she's a musician with a passion for writing. She is going to make a great gift for any child

Toys are no different. Being able to play and see yourself in the worlds you create with your imagination is important! Growing up in the 90s there weren't many options available that represented those of us with brown skin and the options that were available didn't truly represent our culture or even hair textures. This Imani doll encompasses the essence of my little one and it makes me so happy that HarperIman was able to create this.
