Ok product. I'm not a fan of the fact that it's double-lined the way it is, as it makes the waistband a little harder to place. I couldn't pull it up and keep it flat. I like that the waistband has some stickiness to it so it doesn't slip down, but it was very hard to place high enough so it didn't roll down with the way the fabric is. It would be better if the top of the waistband was sewn so it would help keep it from rolling over on itself and rolling down. The thighs are very tight if you have big thighs, but otherwise it fit well. It was more smoothing than anything else. I did not find it had any type or corset effect, so look elsewhere if that's what you're looking for. Mediocre product for the price.

I like the fit and it’s enough compression but don’t like that it doesn’t have an opening in the crotch area :( I don’t wanna pull up and down to use the restroom

I tried on the product and loved how it made my waist smaller and lifted my butt. Unfortunately, it rolled down a lot and it was difficult to take it off every time I needed to use the restroom. In order to make it work for me, I cut out the crotch area to make it easier to use the restroom. I also sew some hook and eye closures from the top of the spanx to my bra. So far, it is working for me.

Who does not want to be spared the need to have to pull this garment down to urinate? I have other Spanx shapers that have the opening at the bottom expertly finished, and wanted this to be the same. However, since I am not an expert at sewing, I ended up ruining this two newly purchased bottoms. Oh my! Very disappointed! Wish Spanx would offer all their bottom-area shaping garments with openings only. That would be much appreciated indeed!

I was excited about the color but definitely is noticeable on thighs and back side when worn under fitted dresses. I gave it 4 stars for the color options.

Super comfortable! My favorite shapewear. The only downside is the silicone band that prevents the garment from rolling down peels off after only washing a couple times. :(

I got a 1x because my butt is on the larger side and it fits great. My only complaint with the fit is since I have an hour glass figure there is a gap at the top of my stomach. Thankfully I couldn't see it under the clothes. The reason for 4 stars though is that I'm quite loud when I walk! My thighs rub and the fabric sounds crazy. I won't be a ninja anytime soon. I also think that regardless of the tag saying it's breathable anything extra is summer will be quite hot. Regardless of all that I think this works as advertised and is a great option under clothes. I just wish that the legs were softer so you couldn't hear me coming!

I got this to transition from a binder following abdominal surgery and it compresses very well and stays up. It’s a little long but I also have a short torso so I expected that. The only thing is it runs soooo small!!! According to the size chart I am a medium. I couldn’t even get it on. I was able to cram myself in a large but it was too hard to take down each time I used the restroom. I had to purchase an XL. Other than that, I’m happy with my purchase.

This held me in just fine, made me feel a little firmer than I am and I feel like clothes just looked generally smoother when I wore this. The material is soft and not very heavy, which I like. The waistband has a silicone band, on the inside to keep it in place, and that worked well for me. I had no rolling of the waistband at all. The thigh area is a bit snug, but once on it didn't roll up at the hem, nor did it bunch up. I would suggest going up a size. While it's supposed to hold you in, you still want to feel comfortable, and I felt like it ran on the smaller side.

The Assets by Spanx shaping high-waist short is a win. The fit is true to the sizing recommendations. They are surprisingly breathable considering the high level of control. There is a really good amount of control and shaping, especially in the tummy. They are rather comfortable to wear as well and they did not roll. These look great under clothing and give a really smooth appearance. I really only have one complaint. I wish they had a double gusset to allow for more ease when nature calls. Other than that, these are a great product.
