[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have also wanted a doorbell camera but dreaded having to mess with all of the wiring. When I heard that there was a wire free option I was excited but also worried that maybe it wouldn’t work as well since I would have to charge it sometimes. Let me tell you if you are skeptical like I was there is no reason to be. The battery life is unreal, I can have the doorbell running for a week and it will still have 75% battery life left when it is time to charge it doesn’t take a long time for it to get fully charged, about 5 hours. Not only does the battery life surprise me and surpass my expectations but the video quality is second to none. Everything shows up so clearly and you can see for quite some distance from where the camera is mounted. Night vision works well, whenever an animal or anything is outside I can see it perfectly even in the dead od night. That alone is enough for me to love this camera but there is a ton of other features like a siren that you can have go off if you feel the need, you can have it set to where 911 is contacted at just a push of a button. I have never felt safer and more secure than I do with this thing installed.

I'm amazed with video and picture quality. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The only thing I struggled with was switching my WiFi on my phone to 2.4ghz other than that the set up was pretty simple. I love that you have the option to either use a wire or use the doorbell wireless. You can also talk to the person that rings the doorbell which is pretty neat. I definitely recommend.

It records any movement and sends notifications within a minute to the devices that it is hooked up to. You can go into the app and review all the videos Arlo recorded and keep or delete. Took only a minute to pair the doorbell with the app on my phone. The doorbell can be hard wired or used with a battery, though the battery is small and takes approximately 24 hours to fully charge it can last up to 14 days. The images taken by the video are clear, not grainy or distorted even from a distance. The audio on the doorbell is also crystal clear with no distortions. This doorbell is truly impressive.

First of all it's wireless so no hard wiring required! Easy to install and has the perfect wifi strength for connection. Has built in sirin just in case you might be away and someone comes on your porch to steal your packages. Comes with night vision and a app that will alert you of anything coming to your house! You can be away and still have the app to live stream your door bell. Very reliable and easy to use make you feel safe again!

This camera provides a nice wide range of the street view so I can keep an eye on any movement in front of the house. I feel a lot safer with this video doorbell as it gives me notifications of any movement. I have it set to detect “people” at the moment, but you have more choices. This is perfect for me to watch for any deliveries as I get notifications on my phone of visitors while I’m at work. The set up was simple. The app gives step by step instructions. The camera visual is crystal clear. When visitors ring the doorbell, my phone starts ringing and I can speak to the person and hear them clearly. This is a great addition to my home and I highly recommend it!

I live in an upstairs apartment and every time someone knocks on the door I have to go downstairs to see who it is, and most of the time they're not even there for me. I love that the app notifies me that someone is here and that all I have to do is talk to them through the camera. The picture is super clear and in color, which is nice. When I get packages (which is a lot) I no longer have to keep going outside to see if they've been delivered. I just wait for the notification from Arlo. Installation was also very easy. My husband had it up in 5 minutes. It took longer to download the app than it did to hang the doorbell on the wall. Overall, I really like this doorbell and I highly recommend it.

Especially with the pandemic, we are weary to open the door until we know who is there and if they are wearing a mask. We now have an Arlo Video Doorbell and it is exactly what we needed. Easy set up. Connected straight to our wifi with no issues. Now we can see exactly what is going on at our front door without even getting up. Talk about a plus! I was able to assemble it without any issues and we are very happy with this Arlo doorbell. Highly recommended. No more surprise knocks for us. Safe and happy over here.

I've been looking for a security system for a while now and was happy to try this doorbell camera. The setup was super easy because it's wireless. You just need to mount it where you want it. The app is really easy to use as well. It walks you through everything and is very user friendly. The picture quality is better than I expected it would be and I can clearly make things out. We get a lot of animal traffic but that's not a big deal. The only downside is that you have to pay for the app after the free trial is over. From looking around it seems that most companies are like this so it's not a deal breaker. This definitely gives me piece of mind for my family and I'm looking into other products we can add. If you are looking for a great quality doorbell camera you should for sure consider this one. We are very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Arlo Doorbell camera is the best one I have used. The application is well designed and intuitive. The doorbell being wireless is a great feature. I chose to wire it to my existing doorbell and transformer so it always stays charged, but it is nice to know that I could have mounted it anywhere regardless of wire. This doorbell has lots of options and was easy to set up. I have this doorbell mounted near my garage entrance door looking towards the street and down my driveway. I increased the sensitivity to 8 on the motion detection and rarely get a car driving by, but pickup everything else. That was my biggest fear with a new doorbell is how much "extra" vehicle action it would pick up. My other doorbell sent me so many notifications I stopped looking at them. The smart software on this doorbell can differentiate between an animal, package, person, or a vehicle. This feature works well, and the notifications show a glimpse of what it captured as well as the designation I listed above. The audio and video quality are great and both parties can communicate easily. Comes through on your phone like a phone call using your ringtone. This is hands down the best doorbell cam I have used. Mine came with a trial to their smart service and I believe it is worth it to subscribe to.
