These curtains are not only pretty and elegant, they are made well, they let the perfect amount of light in, without the sun beaming through and heating up our home. I've tried other sheer curtains and the sun would shine through so much, you could feel the heat. These block out enough of the sun, you don't feel the heat coming through them. I am in love with these curtains. They're beautiful and a slight off white color. They are sheer which is great for letting light through, but they aren't flimsy.
