This cordless vacuum cleaner is easy to use, easy to clean, and last a long time on one battery charge( about 45- 50 minutes at low speed). The canister can be popped off and emptied into the trash and then re-attached to the vac very easily. The canister can be cleaned within a matter of a minute and then dried out and reused. This vac has three power settings that you click on the display. The middle speed is the best setting for standard cleaning and it doesn’t make much noise while cleaning. The top speed can be used, but it will cut the cleaning time to about 10-15 minutes. It takes a battery about four hours to fully charge but can be used at two hours. It is very light and cleans about the same as the older Dyson V6 I have but the battery last longer. It picks up cereal, nuts, and what ever the kids can get on the floor. It cleans rugs very well too.I recommend this machine and have been using it every day for the last month. Check the deals Amazon has on this vacuum cleaner and make sure it’s the 4500 suction model. I love this cordless vacuum! I have a two story house and was tired of dragging my vacuum up and down, so I decided to try a cordless one. My main floor is all tiles with some area rugs. This vacuum does an impressive job. I love how quiet it is and it has enough suction to pick up everything. I worried it wouldn't work as well on the rugs, but it does a great job. If I use the medium power I can do the whole floor. On high power the battery does run out, but I find medium power is strong enough. I looked at a lot of vacuums and finally picked this one. I'm happy I did. I love the light on it and how easy it swivels around. The price is also a bonus. I really didn't want to spend $600. I would buy again! Read more

I bought this on a whim since my Dyson is a plug-in. The Dyson does a great job of vacuuming but it stays in a closet and there is the usual unraveling of the cord and moving it to a new plug as I go around the room, and then have to rewind it to put away. I was unsure of how this would work and if I would use it. Well, has been a great investment. I use it almost daily to pick up small amounts of dirt and pet hair that gets tracked in. Other house members also hesitant to using it have commented how much they like the job it does. Just to be clear, the Dyson cordless are probably much better than this one (I looked at the time) but are at least 4x more expensive. This is reasonably priced, has similar features (tube extension, brush, small space tool, and a hanging rack with charging). Read more

I've only used this twice, so I will edit my review if something changes in the weeks to come.First of all, I bought this to replace my 8-year-old Dyson Animal, which I loved before it started to die. So far, I like it - but don't completely love it. Here's why:Pros:1. The battery seems to have a longer life than the Dyson and the LED display lets you know how much power is left.2. The suction is good, even on the lowest setting. The medium setting seems to draw better than the Dyson.3. It picks up cat hair very well.4. It stands on its own (HUGE plus)!5. The battery is easy to remove. If I keep it as my main vacuum, I will purchase an extra battery for back-up.6. The provided charging station includes attachment storage (handy).7. It's about $400 cheaper than a new Dyson.Cons:1. It is heavier than the Dyson. Not a lot, but enough to make a difference. (I'm 68, and my charging place is upstairs.)2. It is less maneuverable than the Dyson. In particular, the sucking stops about an inch inside from the outside of the vacuum head: can't do stairs or reach corners or floorboards. It is a pain to have to switch to the edging tool to really clean a room. (HUGE minus)3. It is a bit more difficult to empty the dust chamber, and the chamber is A LOT smaller than the one on the Dyson. And - you have to use a small brush (included) to clean the chamber, which does not store on the tool itself. The only real game-changer for me so far is having to use the edger every time I vacuum. The Dyson was a time-saver. This, not so much. Read more
