I've been using gelish nail polish, among others, for the last 4 years. The second set of bottles were different than the first, they appeared more shaped than the typical nail polish bottle. Has a nice feel when handling the newer bottles. The brushes were also changed, a good improvement as each brush has a different shape that sort of helps with applying the polish. My first set lasted a long time, I usually do my nails once a week or once every other week. Using these that often I did not run out of them before reordering, I just felt I need to toss the old ones and get new ones, it had been years that I had been using the same bottles. I haven't used any other foundation polish but this one goes on smoothly and is easy to work with. I have used one other top coat and the gelish top coat seems to have less of a scent than others. As when I used the other one, I was doing my mother's nails, she commented on how terrible it smelt. Gelish, no complaints at all about the scent. You do have to use the nail surface cleanse on the top coat but it's one extra step that takes no time at all and is well worth it. Nothing like looking at that nice glossy surface of freshly painted nails. I use the ph bond every time before applying and I can't tell if it helps, or how much it helps, as I've always used it. Rarely use the nourish one but I try to when I remember. Great set of much needed tools in anyone's "bucket" of nail supplies.

If you follow the steps correctly, the end result is awesome. Took me a few tries to get it right but now I love doing my nails! 1. Ph Bond 2. Foundation then cure under light 3. Brush the ‘tackiness’ off nails (Makeup brush works well) 4. Polish then cure 5. Top it off then cure 6. Soak a cotton ball with alcohol and wipe nails 7. Nourish on cuticles

I’m highly impressed by this set! It was very easy to use - the worst part was figuring how long to cure with my nail lamp. Love! Love! Love! Here’s how to use, as this was a source of worry for me: 1. Use the ph bond, after filing, cleaning, and buffing nails. Apply a thin coat. (I love this brush so much. I wish all polishes came with this little brush!!) 2. Apply a thin layer of the foundation. Cure depending on your lamp. I went 30 seconds. 3. Apply color. (I personally have the Gellen brand colors.) Cure according to your lamp. I went 90 seconds per coat, give or take. I applied 3 coats of color - personal preference. 4. Apply Top It Off. Cure according to lamp. I cured for 2 minutes just to be safe. Then use a cleanser, (I used rubbing alcohol) to wipe off the remaining tackiness. 5. Apply nourish to cuticle area, and massage it in. This stuff was lightly scented, and I really appreciated that!! DONE!! Side note: the package came 1 week earlier than expected, and nothing was damaged, like other reviews said. I’m not sure how long my manicure will last, as I just got done doing it for the first time, however I’m really liking the results so far, so I’m hopeful that I’ll be impressed by the durability of my mani as well! Love this set!!!! I can’t believe it took a global pandemic for me to finally give in and buy gel manicure products. I always get my nails done at the salon but given the circumstances ( I live in New Jersey) everything is shut down so I decided to go ahead and purchase this set along with an uv lamp. I like to wear my nails natural. Just a base and top coat but need the extra strength you get from gel polishes. I am so happy with this purchase!!! I want to add that this is a sticky top coat so once you have cured in lamp you need to wipe it with an alcohol wipe. I just want to clear that up because some of the negative reviews are about how it doesn’t cure and it’s still sticky. I highly recommend this set!!!

Salon quaity gel manicure at home! I've purchased lower priced gel top & base coat sets and didn't feel they were doing well enough like salon quality I'm used to. This set is exactly what I was looking for. Investing in a good base & top coat, LED dryer & polishes and you will be saving money doing it yourself vs going to the salon every two weeks. There is a learning curve and it takes a few times to get the hang of it. I would highly recommend watching videos online before you do your first gel manicure. The prep work is very important to get a lasting manicure. I get just as many compliments on my nails since I've been doing them myself as I did when I was going to the salon to get them done. It is a great value. The Gelish foundation and top coat are worth the price alone. I invested in the set, some gel polish and a LED lamp with the idea of doing my own gel manicures. And so far, so good but I have modified my manicures. I discovered Gelly sandwiches. It's a method of using a gel foundation and top coat but sandwiching regular nail polish between them. I have a small fortune tied up in a lot of regular nail polish and let's face it, gel polish tends to be expensive and the variety is no where as vast as regular polish. Three great things about gel manicures are: it takes no time to dry, it coats your nail so you can actually grow longer nails, the manicure lasts weeks. Sandwiching allows for two of the three; the drawback is time. Your nails must be dry after applying the regular polish before finishing with the top coat. My sandwich manicures last 2 weeks and look glossy as traditional gel manicures. If you're interested in trying a sandwich check out some videos on YouTube. I would suggest using Gelish as it leaves a good, hard, glossy finish.

This set is a good investment! Especially compared to the other gel base and top coats that I've used in the past (that usually came with kits), these just feel like quality. The bottles are large and sturdy, and the bristles of the brushes are the perfect length and thickness for an even and smooth manicure. The gels glide on easily without being too runny, and they cure quickly and stay glossy. The ph bond has definitely boosted the longevity of my manicures, and not just for gel. When I prep the nail bed properly and use this stuff, I can go weeks without the lifting around the edges I had just accepted as my fate because of my thin nails. It works with my dip powder, too. The cuticle oil has a noticeable scent like essential oils that I find pleasant, and it quickly revitalizes my cuticles after the damage of filing and soaking in acetone. I have used this gel with other gel brands, dip systems, acrylic, and regular polish to seal it in, and it always works well.

This is my Go-to kit for gel nail polish. I can’t find any top/base coat better than gelish. When I first started doing gel, I even used it with the cheap sensationail lamp, and it still worked amazing (needed a double cure though) I’ve moved on to a more powerful lamp now, and of course it still cures perfect. It does make it a little longer of a process to remove, but that is a testament to its durability and lasting power. I have looked over my kit very well, and cannot find a thing to make me think it’s not genuine. (I lived in China and am very familiar with fakes, even good fakes, I bought a lot of gel polish while in China and it’s not too difficult to identify polish that is not genuine) anyway, this is a great polish and comes with the prep, which really does help, and nourish which smells so nice! These bottles also last a long time.

I absolutely love this product and it lasts about 3-4 weeks. I also use it with my dip powders and do the “gel method”. This is my favorite brand of gel to use. It’s no harder to remove than any other gel products and I use the “baggy method” to remove it. Works like a charm every time. Only issue I had was with shipping. However, it was FedEx that messed up and lied saying they delivered it and they never did. I contacted the seller and they fixed the issue and sent me a new order out immediately. Excellent customer service and they respond FAST! I finally received the first order over a week later (from when the claimed it was delivered). The seller was nice enough to let me keep the other order as well. Too bad Fedex doesn’t have the same customer service and workers. Would recommend and will be ordering from seller again when I need more.

Hey ladies! If you are anything like me you love getting your regular mani/pedi, but at $40 or more per service, the cost can add up very quickly! What if I told you that you could get the same beautiful mani/pedi with gel polish without even leaving your house??!! Of course you would have to do it yourself, but getting all of the supplies you need to perform a gel mani/pedi will pay for itself in just a few uses! I am not a professional nail artist by any means, but with this UV light and a few bottles of Gelish, it is very easy to give yourself a gel polish that will last for weeks! All you need to start is the basic starter kit, a UV light, and your favorite gel color. You can add to your gel collection at a fraction of the salon prices! I still love going to the salon to get the full on mani/pedi and massage, but now that I can do it at home, I save a lot of money, and the salon is more of a treat every once in a while.
