I have had a Nest thermostat ever since they came out. This is my 3rd unit. Works great

I love the look of it. The programable settings are great for keeping the temperature accurate for when it is need to be higher or lower. I love how I can access it on my phone to adjust it if I am not in front of it or home. If you love having smart gadgets, this one is a must for your home

I bought the Nest so have remote operation of my shop and data on the furnace runtimes and current temperatures. It does exactly that. I am not using any kind of temp programming. I have the Nest Learning thermostat in my other building (rotating chrome ring) which is quite a bit more expensive for the same basic use. I was very happy with the new Nest Thermostat controls (sliding your finger on the right side) and the effective display. One drawback might be if you are left handed.

After changing wires twice, the Nest is working perfectly. The second technician knew to check my A/C unit for a heat pump.

Easy to install if you have the right wiring. You need 4 or 5 wires to control heat and a/c.
