Bought this on Amazon a while ago after a couple recommendations. Everyone was right when they said it's a great pirate version of settlers of catan. Doesn't take 4 hours to play, easy to learn, highly recommend to all board game groups.

Hosted a game night and this was a hit! Talking like a pirate was a lot of fun. Will def be playing again

I have played similar games as this one were you must read and maybe watch a YouTube video to understand the rules of the game. But once you understand the game it’s very fun. The board is durable and well designed.

A little more time consuming than the 20 mins / player but it’s fun and gets the whole family involved. Not a bad learning curve either! This will become a staple for us! Love that the board is hard enough for me now that will last long. The packaging is elegant and is worth every penny.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game is so fun, especially if you’ve always dreamed of living the life of a pirate. There is a learning curve to this game and the rulebook is 14 pgs. long. You have 3 lives while playing the game, choose your choices wisely!

The board game and all the ships and such are very nicely made and durable! Some of the harder to conquer islands, could give extra resources. It’s a great strategy game. Our 12 year old enjoys it but out 7 yr old doesn’t show any interest in it. This game can have up to 6 players.

I played Plunder for Family Game Night and now we play every week! Both the young kids and adults are addicted!
