This hat is much larger than I expected. And it’s stiff like a straw hat. I assumed it was crotched or knitted with yarn but it’s actually straw. Very cute still and great for the sun.

I love this hat for when I'm outside gardening. It keeps the sun off my face and ears for the most part and it is comfortable and airy.I'm not sure of the UPF 50+ rating because the hat is woven so it has small holes in it. In the pics I'm holding it up to a light so you can see if that much matters to you. It doesn't to me.The fit was perfect and the brim had a wire all around it so you can adjust it straight out or bent down. Closure of the wire could eventually be a poking hazard.

Folds nicely but unfolds and shapes nice for wear. Comfortable.

I always wear a hat in the summer to keep sun off of my face. The brim on this wide enough to accomplish that. The colors of the blue hat are so pretty and just make me smile. Because it is a crochet hat it will be breathable so your head won't get too hot. I would like to be able to shape the brim. I think it will do well getting wet and holding its shape.
