[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited to see the kinetic sand grill and scoop diner on the table awaiting his chef master skills on Thursday. We had a blast this weekend, mixing and creating a fun diner atmosphere. He really enjoys kinetic sand and definitely more interested in the intricate details now. The shredding of lettuce and stacking the items was really well received. There are a lot of pieces involved in this kit, and he has had so much fun creating the detailed instruction pieces but also using the sand for his own imagination play. As a mom I love the clean up on this one. For one the case is not only a storage box its a sand box to create everything in. If some sand does get it out its not the end of the world, it cleans up like a piece of cake! Win for everyone.

It has so many type of tools to scoop and shape the sand. It is a great non-screen activity for kids to play over & over again and good for indoor play especially in Winter. The texture of the sand is smooth and in very good quality. He is 5 years old and I am sure he's going to have a lot of fun (and so am I being a kid at heart haha). The set is so pretty and comes packed in a suitcase type box that is light and easy to carry around. The amount of kinetic sand in it is actually quite well portioned at about 2lbs. There were about 5 colors in it, but once you mix and match, it opens up a variety of so many additional colors. The set is literally a kitchen in a box. It comes with stickers and molds and the briefcase type holder box for it all actually doubles down as a sandbox. There are so many goodies like scoops and spoons and a frenchfry press, milkshake cup and tons of stickers to create that ultimate unique experience of having all your kitchen tools to watch the little ones whip up a unique meal for you, encouraging their creativity and being a great source of enhancing their sensory development and motor skills. Burgers are on the menu this weekend with fries and I can't wait to see my nephew's face light up when he starts playing around with it. The kinetic sand is made of natural sand and doesn't create any messes. Also the playset is very presentable and makes a great gift too for Christmas and birthdays for the little ones.
