I had a similar version of these headphones for about a year and a half. They crapped out with the wire breaking loose and the sound not working in the left ear. You'd have to constantly tweak the input to get the left side to work.I ordered a new set figuring they are cheap 15 dollar headphones. The new ones came out of the box with the same problem. Cheap outsourced junk. I remember Skullcandy as being a good brand back in the day but they're definitely struggling to provide a workable product.

They don't stay in your ears, they fall out CONSTANTLY, and the sound quality was just crap. Which sucks because I LOVE this brand, I wanted them for when I was laying in bed at night with my boyfriend and our son because I can never sleep. I'm still using the big clunky gamer headset from before :-(

I purchase 6 pair and over half had one ear not working on arrival. The first pair worked well for a little over a month before I caught it on something and damaged it. The second pair worked okay but the rest had one or both earbuds that didn't work.

I will say that I'm one of those people that has a hard time finding earbuds that fit well, but these don't even come close. They are uncomfortable and fall out. The sound quality is terrible. I returned them.

Bought 2 pairs in mint, both pairs immediately were shorted at the connecter. Pulled them out of the box carefully, but that doesn't even matter cause the connector is were the faulty wire is which wasn't even held in by the product package, leaving it virtually untouched upon removing. Will be getting a refund....

I have previously bought Skullcandy earbuds and had no complains about them, but this specific ones are terrible quality. The volume on one side is extremely low. You can barely hear your music. It's as if your underwater and someone is talking to you and you can't hear a thing.I am not sure if the ones I ordered were defective, and returning them would be too much a hassle with all the difficulties of leaving my home because of the pandemic. I am social distancing and only going out to buy groceries once a month. So, I decided to keep mine but I am completely dissatisfied with the quality.

Worked worse than the broken earbuds I bought these to replace. Control button works when it feels like it, and the music cuts in and out based on how insecure the jack’s attachment is at any given moment. When swiveled, static abounds.

I use skullcandy headphones almost exclusively (both those with the mic and without) and these are by far the worst I've tried. The "noise isolating" quality isn't nearly as good and the sound was immediately crackly. The headphone jack was immediately sensitive to ANY touch or movement. Ridiculous. Go to Fred Meyer or Target and get the real thing instead.

I purchased 2 of there and to be honest they fell apart in less than 21/2 months one I already sent back after only a month because of the button and ready to send back the second as the button fell apart. Grant you they gave me a gift card to but something different but useless if it’s never in stock. I always loved skull candy headphone but by far a horrible design. Sad.

I had to purchase this product twice to finally feel the need to post this review. When I received my first pair I noticed immediately that they were going too short out soon. Within 10 minutes of plugging them in barely touching the wire caused the sound to fizzle in and out. The life of my first pair ended when one side completely shorted out within about two months time. I purchased a second pair because they are reasonably priced and very cute , big mistake. The second pair was exactly the same situation as the first pair only instead of it taking two months, they shorted out within a few weeks. Mind you, I very safely and meticulously fold my headphones when I put them away so it certainly wasn't a matter of misuse. I guess you get what you pay for so I will be shelling out an extra few dollars on my next pair and they definitely won't be Skullcandy.
