I love the color, and it’s perfect for school.

I have this backpack in the mustard fall color. It has served me well for over a year. I carry it for work, so it is mature & simple making it good for all students and life after school. I carry it as my laptop bag full of chargers, iPad, 15.6' gaming laptop, 14" chromebook, a 12 outlet slim 15ft power strip, various notepads, portfolio, & notebooks, plus stationary. The pockets are easy to get into due to the light weight nature of the fabric. I Scotchguarded mine with four, thin layers. Any "stains" I remove with a Kiwi sneaker cleaner with built-in brush - scrub lightly without saturating the fabiric all the way trough. I use just enough cleaner and light scrubbing to life surface marks from my floorboard & floors that it gets set down on, then fan dry. I've had no watermarking stains, though it would machine was on delicate or handwash with drying in front of the fan. It does fit my 32 oz Stanley Chug & Go, but not a cup with handle because it was invented before the Yeti craze, though an OG Yeti cup w/o handle works or an open bottom handle that slips over the outside edge of the compartment. I'm buying this again in slate blue for spring and summer carry. People do need to remember that overloading the bag & grabbing one strap all the time, will loosed and tear the fabric at the stitching. If you make a habit of picking it up with both back straps, especially when overloaded, the straps will last. But you have to make a habit of it. Also, if the straps are giving at the seams, then you should consider 1) reinforcing the stitching with heavy ulpholstry thread (you can do this, just YouTube it) 2) carry less crap (yep weigh it & relieve your back pain) & 3) kids, teens & young adults are rough on stuff, so if your kid goes through backpacks like crazy, then pay for them or invest in a heavier backpack from LLBean with a true dream of a lifetime warranty.

I absolutely love this backpack, I had it for my senior year last year in the cream color and when i saw they came out with pink I had to get it. it holds so much stuff and the pockets are perfect for holding my giant owala!

My daughter(an extremely picky, brand name obsessed HS senior) loved this. She said it was a great size and the color was perfect.
