This sconce is so beautiful! I love the color and shape of the shade, and the brass arm is so beautiful. I didn’t realize it was wired when I got it, so I haven’t been able to install it yet. The shade can be faced up or down, which is nice.

This gorgeous Fluted Ceramic Sconce that is White/Gold in color is really very nice. I tried to put it up in my hallway with the help of my brother but did not come worth cords to hardwire it with. I have to pay an electrician to install it so I don't electrocute myself. The Sconce can be hung upwards or down depending on your preference. I'll probably hang mine down as the picture shows.

As another reviewer pointed out, this sconce is a hard wire fixture with no cords. This would be perfect for one of those rechargeable bulbs so there are absolutely no cords, you can hang anywhere and then still have the look of the sconce without the need for an electrician. If this suits your decor, its a beautiful piece.

The description for the product is incorrect on the Target website--this is a wired sconce that goes into a junction box on the wall. I was hoping for a wired sconce but this is hardwired--you need to be handy or hire an electrician to install it. That being said, it is heavy and made of nice materials. It would be pretty in a powder room over a sink.
