It lights up with leds and has a crank to open up the umbrella. It is very sturdy and stayed in place during a storm and high winds. Of course it is recommended to close the umbrella but the storm happen when no one was home.

My patio is mostly bland beige. I decided this year to add in pops of color and stop being “matchy matchy” as my husband says. Even he loves this umbrella. It lights up nicely and is a very pretty addition to my patio. I keep it up most of the time just because it is so pretty.

Choosing an outdoor umbrella should be a pretty straight forward process, right? But it’s amazing how many things you need to consider: size, shape, color, lights or no lights, etc. Thankfully, the positive reviews and also swift delivery of this product helped me to make up my mind. So far, this umbrella is everything it’s supposed to be and has worked really well during these few weeks that we’ve had it. For the price and convenience of delivery it was also a great deal.

I have two of these on a boat and like them. I've only had them for one season so don't know how they'll hold up yet. I bought the covers for them to help protect them in the off season. The lights underneath are nice.
