Lol. There’s literally a hole that leads from the base chamber out the bottom. So water just flows freely out of the base. How did they design and manufacture products to fail so deliberately? And uh, Targ… why are you still selling an obviously defective product? :/

I’ll keep it short + simple: don’t buy this humidifier. I thought it would be great for my small bedroom, but it spilled water literally everywhere and a nasty, brownish residue leaked out from the bottom of the base when I picked it up. Absolutely terrible.

So I bought this for my plants as I needed some extra humidity and I was super excited about the two settings and the fact that I could have it on low and have it run all day. I had some leakage that I figured must be my fault but about 20 minutes ago I refilled it to the limit line and walked away. I’m super lucky that I don’t have my power strip on the floor or it would have absolutely gotten drenched. All of the contents poured out of the bottom of the unit, filled the bottom of my greenhouse and all over the ground. I guess it shows how much water this thing can hold but this was extremely dangerous as the unit was sitting in water so the electronic part was as well. If I had filled it before leaving for work it could have sparked and caused serious damage. I really thought I would be ok with this unit but it sitting in water is really dangerous and I really don’t suggest this for anyone at all.

This worked for three days. After that, it leaked all the water out of the bottom and all over my table. Had to return.

MOLD! NOT WORTH RISKING YOUR HEALTH!! purchased this because my son was sick with a stuffy nose and wanted something ASAP. It worked ok the first two nights, but it molds up very fast, leaks, and just not worth having because of how quickly it molds. Going to try to return this tomorrow otherwise it’s a waste of money and will definitely go in the trash.

I’m so disappointed water leaks all over out of the base. It ruined my nightstand.

While the look of the humidifier is sleek, it’s just designed horribly, and I’d recommend anyone to stay away from buying it. The first night I had it, it was fine. However, when I woke up in the morning, the light on the humidifier was off- signaling that it was out of water.. also, fine. So I went to refill it, and because of the design of the humidifier, you have to set the water tank in just right or it won’t sit flush with the base. If this happens, water literally starts pouring out of the base and goes everywhere and won’t stop until all of the water is gone from the tank. I repeat, water literally flows everywhere and doesn’t stop until it’s empty!! AND to my surprise, this happened even when the humidifier was unplugged. The only way this humidifier could functionally work is if you never removed the tank to fill it and just used a pitcher of water instead. I’ll be returning the humidifier this weekend, and hopefully Target will just throw it out because that’s how awful it is. So don’t be tempted by the price or the look of it- Invest in a better humidifier.

Really heavy mist. Spits water drops out and that only lasted for 3 days before it started leaking from the base.

This was a huge waste of money. It leaks very bad from the bottom even if it is on a flat secure surface. To the point I had to use a the bottom of a planter underneath it to make sure it didn’t ruin the floor or my tables. After not using it for a couple weeks I went to turn it on and it wouldn’t come on. I added some water and still nothing. Come to find out, it leaked again and the inside had completely rusted. I’ve had it less than a year and don’t have the packaging it came in anymore. Super disappointed

The humidifier does not stay on longer than about 3 mins. I have had it a few days and will be returning it. Wish it worked, I really liked the design and that it has an aromatherapy tray that is compatible with VICKS Vapor Pods.
