I've been using this humidifier for two weeks to help with allergy and sinus issues, and it's amazing. I like that I can use the Vick's Vapopads in the humidifier, it puts out a good amount of mist and can be used with essential oils. The only downside is it's only half a gallon and if you put it on the high setting it only lasts about four hours and cuts off. THe low setting puts out about half the amount of mist and barely uses any water, not sure how I feel about that. Other than that, it's a good product, easy to put the vapor pads and essential oils in, easy to fill and dispose of the water. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I've been using this product for my ivy plants, and it's been working great! There's a high setting for a large amount of mist and a low setting for less mist. There's also a pad where you can place essential oils, so it can basically act as a diffuser as well. It sends the mist quite high, so it'll be able to reach plants a bit above it and also fall down over a larger area. I'd say the main downsides are that it doesn't have more modes and it doesn't have a super large water capacity. I already live in a relatively humid area, so for my needs, it doesn't need a large tank to run all day on the high setting. However, I can see how for some areas, refilling it can get tedious. The beauty of this product is in its simplicity. Ive used this humidifier for multiple nights and have not had any problems with leaks or spills and there has been no visible wetspots on my floor/wall like ive had with other humidifiers. Overall I like this humidifier! It is definitely small for a small room, and it can run maybe 6ish hours on high before running out of water. This works well for my bedroom and I love filling it right before bed and running it through the night until it shuts off, keeping my bedroom door shut so the moisture stays in the room. I have only had this for about a week, but I haven't noticed any issues. Before I had only had humidifiers with filters which are such a pain to clean and expensive over time, and immediately I like this better. However, I have been making a point to use filtered or distilled water, and I also use the demineralizer tabs from a different brand at Target to further help keep the quality of the water as high as possible so that I'm not breathing in bad air. Also I wanted to note that this humidifier isn't as loud as others I had in the past, but it is still noticeable, so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper. Overall, I think this is a good value for what it is, and as long as you don't mind refilling it often, it is great to have!

I would give five stars but I agree with other reviewers that the design is a little off. I’ve been using this nightly for two months now with no issues. I let it dry completely a few times a week to prevent build up. Keeps running all night and to avoid the spilling factor others have mentioned I just fill it up with a bottle rather than detaching the basin and filling it under the sink. Does the job at a more affordable price and looks sleek!

I avoiding purchasing because of all those horrible reviews. I was in the store today and saw it again and decided to just try it. I read the entire manual before use (I reccomend everyone does). I filled the reservoir with cold filtered water and then plugged in and I’m surprised at how much mist it provides. Going to wait and see if it really benefits my dry skin and if my bunny likes it as well.

I don’t understand how some people have so much drama with a little simple gadgets LOL I filled it up plugged it up and just let it do it’s thing. The humidity in my bedroom was 30 not good for me but I left this running and went downstairs for about eight hours I’d say and it’s at 37 so I’m content I’ll let it do it’s thing.

I waited to review based on the mixed reviews currently. I have had this for 10 days now, and I have used it every day. It is in my bedroom on my nightstand, I start it up at night and shut my bedroom door to maximize the benefits. As far as leaking goes, I have not had one issue with this. I’m not sure how so many people experience this. I take the reservoir to the sink and have no issues with spilling or leaking when replacing it or after it runs a while. At most I’ve noticed the tiniest of water spots develop on my dresser where it sits but that’s simply from it doing it’s job and water. The machine is quiet however it is not silent. I personally like the slight sound it gives off. It’s like a very soft white noise. I have dogs and I usually hear them walking around the hardwood floors at night but I haven’t the last few nights and it’s nice. I do agree that the two settings are polar opposites. When I fill this at night right before laying down and put it on high it has shut off by the time I wake up. The low setting however lasted all night and through the day until the following night when I refilled it for bed and put it back on high. I would have liked for more of a happy medium setting. I like the essential oil tray, I put drops of eucalyptus in it and it gives a Vick’s vapor sort of effect. I will say I use way more the suggested amount of drops as it does dry it out fast. Overall I like it. I’m in the dead middle of winter here in PA so my furnace is running nonstop. I was waking up stuffy and my throat sore from everything being so dry. It’s seem to be helping this and overall I am happy with it.
