I ordered a 40 they were more like a 36.

Sizes are not consistent or accurate and I even received a pair with out an actual button loop cut into the shorts....really?

A little tight around the legs too short for my taste

Great price. I crossed my fingers and purchased two pair of theses shorts. Put the first pair on and wore for a few hours. Great fit, very comfortable. Went to take them off later and pop. The button came out of the fabric and on to the floor. My fear of buying online is confirmed. I'm wearing the second pair today and scrutinizing very carefully.

Waiting to receive the shorts before buying additional pairs, but the style on the pockets, no button to close the top , and a little tight made me change my decision.

The buttons release Grean rust rust like the old batteries. Not true to size, I wear my clothes large, these feel small. If permitted I'd gave minus Star.
