I BUY WIZARD OF OZ PRODUCTS FOR MY DAUGHTER AS SHE IS A COLLECTOR. SHE DOES NOT HAVE THIS GAME PIECE SO WILL BE THRILLED.

Oz is a perfect plot for a story book adventure game! As an life-long Oz fan, I really enjoyed working through each of the chapters together with friends or family. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves this classic movie!

Great game. Perfect use of the IP

As an early reviewer, I received a copy of this game in exchange for my opinion. The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movies of all time and this game does not disappoint! It’s a fun, co-op game that can be enjoyed by fans of all ages. The game is divided into different chapters for different scenes in the movie, each with its own objectives to complete and “mini game” to play. I really like that the cards you collect and discard are the same throughout the entire game, even though you are doing something different in each chapter. Setup and tear down is easy, making casual play a breeze. The colors and art are beautiful! I really enjoy this game and can see myself playing this quite a lot!

This game is really fun to play! Designed as a team game, it does take a little bit of time to play so it's perfect for family game night. It echoes all of the favorite characters and scenes from the movie with a unique format. Having the game board be a book adds a lot to the way it's played and the transitions between scenes makes it interesting. Highly recommend for ages elementary school kids to adults.

As an early reviewer, I received a copy of this game in exchange for my opinion. Our household of players consists of two parents and a six year old child. We prefer to play co-operative games that allow us to guide our young child through the game play of these type of adventure games and we were blown away by this one! In preparation to play the game, we all watched the movie to introduce our daughter to the theme and get her excited to play. This game is an adventure story book game and the “game board” lies in the sturdy pages of what appears to be a story book. When you flip open the book to the first scenario, it opens nicely, is beautifully illustrated and well incorporates the first scenes of the movie. Unlike some adventure games, the objectives and turn order events are clear and we didn’t feel we needed to spend a lot of time in the rule book. This is a big plus for a family game night with children involved. Game mechanics are simple to learn-discarding cards to advance characters-but also requires working together and strategically retaining cards you will need to complete your objectives. Special cards give extra advantages but we did not find them to be overwhelmingly complicated. There are 6 chapters and each chapter transports you to different scenes throughout the movie so there is something new and fresh from each one. You can stop at just one chapter for a nice shorter game session or continue through to additional chapters to extend your play time. I did appreciate that it felt like a complete game to stop at one chapter a night. Some adventure games make you feel like you had to keep charging through much of the game at once since the setup for some can be extensive. I did not feel that way with this game. I see definite replay ability in this game since your actions and card selections will be different every time. Extremely pleased to add this game to our collection!
