I wanted to like the jacket, but unfortunately it is definitely not hip length, but cropped. It barely came to my waist (and I’m 5’3” and have a very short torso). I had to return.

This is an okay quality active jacket for $30. I ordered it in a L, which is my size, and it was much smaller than expected, it felt more like a M-L. It was soft, but the feel of it was still less quality fabric then expected.
