I bought this for my nephew who is away at school. He loves everything about it! Great bass response, easy to take along to anywhere you want to go, and not too heavy to haul around. A good buy!

very versatile speaker for the price, it features at all of our backyard functions

I saw this same speaker at my local Costco several months back and played with the display model and fell in love with it.Ion, through the years, seems to have a "hit-or-miss" reputation and admittedly this is my first Ion product. I've been eyeing various Ion speakers for years and after receiving some Christmas cash decided I wanted to purchase this one from Amazon.It's pretty amazing. I use it sparingly, mostly on weekends when cleaning or messing around in the house. I fully charged it when I received it and have yet to have to charge it again. It's loud and has this cool bass boost feature. I live in a ranch and it EASILY fills the whole house with tunes. Light display is awesome too.Can't wait for this summer when I can take it outside and really put it to the test.

The first two tournaments I used it for, it just didn’t get very loud! Sounded great in my house. Then, another mom connected to it from her iPhone and it was LOUD. Come to find out, I had to tell my iPhone that this Bluetooth connection was to a speaker - it thought it might be headphones and didn’t want to damage my hearing. After that, it was perfect. Stood up to deluges and lots of dusty clay. Battery life was fantastic. Didn’t need to charge it until after a long weekend of tournaments.
