These zippered mattress protectors are great. They will protect the whole mattress from our messy boys, which was the goal. We haven't tested the waterproof claim, but we're happy with these so far. I also really like the fact that there is no rustling when you roll over on the mattress, like some other brands.

This mattress protector has been amazing in aiding to my children waking up breathing clear and with minimal allergy irritation symptoms. I love that this mattress protector zips all the way around the mattress, versus fitting like a sheet. I do suggest using two people to put this on the mattress, as with one person it is difficult to get it straight and zipped correctly. The zipper does easily catch on interior fabric, so the zipping progress should be done slowly. The waterproof aspect is great as one of my children is younger and has occasional accidents. I do feel that the claims to be "quiet" are slightly deceiving, but having used other mattress protector brands, I do think it is quieter than normal. The noise is not as noticeable when it is covered properly with a sheet. This is also machine washable which makes it a win, in my book, especially when it showed no signs of damage after cleansing. Overall, this is a great mattress protector, and I would highly recommend.
