I really love this cake stand. The base is sturdy so I'm not worried about it toppleling over and the glass dome is thick and doesn't feel too delicate. The wood base is classic and goes with any decor style, it is simple enough to make the baked goods the real star of the show. With the dome on you could store a cake as wide as 9.5 inches and 4 inches tall without touching any edges. Even though it isn't made for it, you can even turn it all upside down and it could function as an elevated serving bowl.

Love love LOVE this dessert stand! It's solid without being too heavy, a beautiful wooden shade, and cleans up super easily. Also they mailed the perfect size - fits a Bundt cake or 9 inch cake just right without touching the sides of the cake. This will easily becomes my go-to housewarming gift with baked goodies inside!

A very beautiful cake stand. Perfect for displaying any kind of baked goods. Very lightweight which is a huge plus. Easy to clean up. Would look great on any counter top to display your yummy treats. I love it.

I picked this up to use as i like to host get togethers with buffet style desserts, snacks, etc. I like to vary the heights and keep the servingware in white, glass or woodtones to coordinate with whatever season, holiday, event decor I pair it with. I love this cake stand, though I haven't had a chance to use it yet. It's sturdy, super cute, and i love the glass cloche (cover) for keeping things protected (no one will be able to quick put their finger in the frosting if there's a cover on the cake!). While you may want to put parchment paper or a paper-doiley down between the wood and your cake/desserts, it would only be for quick clean up as this is food safe and easy to wipe down. I look forward to adding this to my table for my next event - in the meantime, here it is with a banana for scale.
