Hsd this kettle for 3 weeks. Treated it with kid gloves, empty any reamining water from kettle, remove lid and open spout so that any droplets can evaporate and guess what the result has been, The sides of the tea kettle are pitting and developing rust and the interior blue enamel is disingegrating and ending up in my water. Can't anyone make a decent tea kettle. DO NOT BUY!!! Believe all the bad reviews!!!
