This Gourmia Coffee Maker does the job for brewing fresh, hot coffee! It has touch features that you can choose to brew your coffee now or set it for a later time. You can choose to make a personal coffee so you won’t need to dirty the pot if you’re brewing alone and an option for making coffee if you’re having friends over - up to 12 cups! If you’re not ready to drink your coffee right away, the thermal carafe will keep it hot for awhile. We like that there’s a place for k-cups also because it gives the opportunity for those in our house who don’t like messing with the ground coffee and filter option. There’s another option that we really liked: We prefer the coffee to brew for a few minutes in the hot water before dripping into the cup or carafe. Here, even with a k-cup it’ll allow you to keep the dripper closed until you’re ready to open it. Other machines don’t have that feature. When we bought it from Target, it said it’ll be shipped in 5 days but shipping was so quick, it came the next day!
