Great fun for the grandson and his dad to have something to do together but needs recharged too quickly.

Played with extended family, including 4-year-old, and this set is very fun. It works well, after a couple of hours playtime. Batteries still good. One complaint is that the "Life" score on the gun does not seem to register vest hits, so your vest hits can be higher, resulting in vest registering you dead while gun counter still shows lives. Also, players can change gun team during game, which doesn't seem right. It could frustrate a very rules-minded person, but if you just want to run around the house having fun, it works.

Bought this as a birthday gift and it arrived in a broken box poorly taped up. One of the laser guns didn't work. We requested an exchange and are hoping for better results.Addendum 5/21/23: Our replacement set was delivered 36 hours after requesting an exchange and it arrived in good factory-sealed condition and in proper working order. With this replacement set, I would like to give USA Toyz more stars for their outstanding customer service and dedication to quality assurance. They truly put the customer first, and your concerns become their priority.

They shoot from and great distance but the accuracy is somewhat questionable. The on and off is a plastic toggle switch which will break without the direction of an adult, but you know kids and how they listen .Other than that we've had a lot of fun with them.

We enjoyed these a few times but after a few times players were blocking the front sensor and there are no other sensors like the more expensive consumer grade guns have. These vests need shoulder sensor and back sensor to really have fun without making rules that are hard to enforce.After these sat in the toy box for a while the battery was dead and we could not charge the blue lion AA rechargeable battery in our name brand AA charger. We tried putting an Energizer AA alkaline battery in but the gun would not power up. Apparently the kit came with a charger but we have misplaced it so we won't know if their charger is special in some way; but either way I would not recommend these to anyone based on our experience. It would be better to invest a little more money and get a kit with better vests and universal charging options.

Product was a little cheaply made for the price. Instructions were not easy to understand .
