I've flown with this several times. I put it in the loose change tray completely opened up (since the TSA is going to open it anyway). They take a close look and send me on my way. I've actually gotten 2 "thumbs up" from screeners, who think it is cool. It functions fine, seems well-built, and I like it better than my friend's TSA-friendly Leatherman. Keep the scissors sharp and one side can be used as a blade in a pinch.
